The final level of each warp room is a base that represents the boss of its corresponding warp room. It makes sense that you're riding the minecart in the ore processing factory, and a submarine in the underwater lab. I remember loving that attention to detail as a kid

"The true Crash 4"
YES. Someone finally said it. Because the "actual" one is a huge retcon in of itself.

That dragon chase scene is so nostalgic

About that thumbnail, it's really worth noting that this game was actually called Crash 4 in Japan, specifically "Kurasshu Bandikū 4: Sakuretsu! Majin Pawā" so this game really is in fact the true Crash 4 as it was the first game in the series to bare that number in a way.

Also, if you're wondering. No, It's About Time was not renamed over there to account for that, so Japan actually has two Crash 4s, and I can imagine it was pretty confusing for them when It's About Time was announced and being labeled as "Crash 4."

This is easily one of the best analysis videos made on this game. Real shame the uploader himself isn't feeling too well. Bro deserves more credit than what he got

The weird thing about the warp room's 'blandness' is that the betas had noticably more detail. The Elementals were animated in the background jeering at you to give it a bit more life, and Crash DID have a unique transition, diving into the liquidy hub entries, making for a good dive into the falling loading screen. Dunno why they took these out.

This is my favorite crash game

I would like a remake of this. Especially if the developers actually tried to improve some of the levels and even took feedback on social media like they did with the N. Sane trilogy.

Late to the party, but super keen to watch this one through

I’m just about to do a play through of this game. I remember loving it as a kid, not as much as the original trilogy, but still. I hope it still holds up. It definitely had it’s own vibe.

Wrath of Cortex is super underrated. It has plenty of issues but there’s a lot of variety, still has the classic Crash gameplay, coco is playable other than just the purra levels, it’s nice being able to actually get the box gems on a first try, crunch is a great character, etc.

You can tell they really put a lot of thought and love into this game. They try to switch things up a lot. I do feel like the vehicle controls could’ve been better and there’s 1 too many water levers and airplane levels.

One of my favorite games of all time🥹

First 2 minutes of the video was a fire intro, I really liked the transition to the music, now I will continue the video

This was the one and only Crash Bandicoot game I ever played and I really enjoyed it

Honestly i think this whole game was worth it just so that wizards and lizards could exist. Its just such a vivid memory of this game

John DiMaggio, the voice for Uka uka, the voice actor for Marcus Fenix in Gears of War & Bender in Futurama. Btw, sensational video frog.

Slight correction: Jess Harnell played Crash from CTTR until CTRNF, not N. Sane

28:38 “Is it safe to be wearing that fur? It looks FLAMMABLE!”

I’d know that voice anywhere.

Honestly one of the best dives into a crash game I've seen. Watched all your vids and hope one day you get the recognition you deserved for these.

After seeing how Enter the Dragonfly turned out, its a miracle this game is even playable.
