pours boiling tea on his hand and kicks him out of his own family home in the space of 10 minutes - CLOCK ITTTT💅🏽 walk him like a dog sis

love that she kicked him out of his own house

She is the ONLY reason I'm not mad Benedict isn't with a man 😆

I really appreciate the model of femininity Yerin embodies in the role of Sophie. Sophie is ridiculously intelligent and a veritable Renaissance Woman with her rostrum of talents, but isn’t arrogant, flashy, or bitchy about it. She has her clumsy moments but they don’t define her character in a reductive, cliched sort of way like so many other romantic leading ladies of TV and cinema. She is reserved and modest, but not demure; she definitely can be incisive, especially with Benedict, when needed. She has a strong sense of self but carries it with quiet confidence; when Benedict offers her to be his mistress, most TV/cinematic leads would have whacked him upside his head, let him have it, and stormed off in a huff. Sophie’s understated reaction was brilliant because giving him a brief, unblinking stare of disgust and then gently walking away, saying nothing, was much more powerful and effective compared to a truculent reaction.

To sum up: Yerin is a queen of less-is-more acting, effectively picking the moments of when to emote and when to hold back. Her restraint is her power and that is what is making Sophie so unique and so memorable.

Is she the favorite in the books? Because she's easily my favorite female lead in this series <3 she's so relatable

Sophie is up there with Kate of my favorite female love interests in Bridgerton 🤩 she's so fun and so witty🥰

I knew the mistress thing was coming and I was still pissed off. Also not him doing the whole “You’re not like other girls 🫦” Benediiiiict I had better hopes for you bb

That "THANK YOU for the dance card" scene with Footman John was so cute and funny 🤣 My fave scene of Sophie

Oh about Rosamund’s walk at around 3:40! Her actress Michelle Mao responded to a TikTok comment saying it reminded them of how Anastasia and Drizella walk in a scene in Cinderella by confirming it! She said something like  ‘Are you in my walls, that’s exactly it’ dhjdhdkkd

Sophie and Benedict has the best chemistry out of all seasons.

6:25 Even Yerin acknowledged the similarity in her Insta Story some time ago 😂😂😂

sophie really had benedict falling over himself just to try and impress her 😭

Cho went to the dark side.

the way she says "forgive me" with that soft and caring tone. I love her

THE FISH SIDE EYE LMAOO😂😂😂😂😂

Sophie is a doll, but also can speak up to a man and be unapologetic herself at times. I thinks that’s what makes her attractive. Those traits are unique all in one combined

i LOVE ALFIE HES SO ICONIC

Yerin Ha is phenomenal! Luke Thompson is magical! This season is SO FUCKING GOOD. ❤

Her character ironically embodies Sophie Hatter from Howls Moving Castle in the original Novel 😭✋

sophie baek is truly one of the best bridgerton characters ever that’s an actual princess 💗
