They broadcast Kojak on free tv a decade ago. I couldn't believe how great a show it was. The old dirty New York as a backdrop, the great actors, the phenomenal writing. Truly all time great tv.

I remember this little rhyme Kojack imparted to a NY hood that was threatening him and people close to him. "If I see you in the vicinity, of me or my family, I'm gunna scatter your brains from here to White Plains!". Lol.  Classic Kojak!

As a kid that grew up in the 70s we had awesome cop shows.A lot of them.

What a great show. They don’t make them like KOJAK anymore.

I still watch Kojak today. I love my Telly ❤

Misleading Title! No controversy mentioned!  Still a great 1970's cop show!

Back in the day, in a top show like this each episode was like a movie. Nowadays an entire season stretches out a story barely worthy of a movie to hours and hours.

The site lied about a controversy but a nice review.

You didn't  mentioned  about the  Kojak re-union  tv movie, that aire twice.  Once in 1987.
And again in 1994 shortly  after Telly Savalas's death.
At the end of the re- broadcast  , a simple saying " we love ya baby. Telly Savalas
(1922-1994) 😥💔

Clickbait title to the video

Kojak was the greatest police episode. I still watch it most nights on Get TV at 9:00 pm. A couple of years ago I found several original episodes on DVD set. With Lawlessness everywhere in every city, most definitely needs a Kojak🍭. Great Interview. Thanks

What was the "Controversy??

Loved this show as a kid

I still watch Kojak today. He’s my Greek God 😊

"Who lovesya baby" 😀😀

When I was working airport checkpoint security, I got to meet Telly when he was flying through.  He was a class act!

Apart from the clickbait title, I enjoyed the video. Love the show, then and now.

Nice trip down memory lane, love this series.  May the lost start's rest in peace 🙏. Another interesting video thanks nick 🖤

Benny Hill did a skit where he played Kojack and Detective Stavros. It was hilarious.

Monkey on a string was one of the best episodes of television content ever produced.
