The story of Punk Rock is usually told using the same handful of bands.
The Sex Pistols.
The Clash.
The Damned.
Buzzcocks. Crass, X-Ray Spex.

But the late 1970s British Punk explosion was far bigger than that. Across the UK, hundreds of bands were playing small clubs, pubs and student venues, creating a raw new sound that helped change Rock music forever.

Many of them were just as exciting, just as influential, and just as important as the famous names… yet somehow they never broke through to the wider audience they deserved.

In this video, I’m counting down seven underrated British Punk bands that should have been massive.

Some released brilliant singles that should have been hits.
Some were legendary live acts.
And some simply arrived at the wrong moment in music history.

If you love discovering forgotten Punk Rock, hidden gems, and the real story of British music, this one is for you.

Let me know in the comments which underrated Punk bands you think should have been huge.

And if you enjoy the video, please like, subscribe and share — it really helps the channel grow.

Thanks for watching.
