Presentations are the bane of my existence. no one told me that joining a phd meant presentation GALORE.

Ep. 64: Working through the summer months is not always easy as a student. The weather is really nice outside, yet grad students continue to research and study through the summer months because we technically work throughout the school year.... my next big holiday is Christmas! Either way, please enjoy this study vlog of me studying through the night, giving a presentation (and kind of failing), shopping around, pottery class, and more!

I love this hairstyle on you! Only 26 and 4th year PhD?? I'm nearly 38 and just finishing my Masters. Currently writing a proposal lol. You are not old my love. Life is just beginning! Congrats on your journey thus far :)

I'm 33 and I definitely feel old some days lol. But I know I'm not. Having your 4th year as a PhD student at 26 is amazing 😊❤

My tip for any sort of presentation is to never make a script. I learn the topic I’m presenting and then just talk in my own words. It saves the time of making a script plus it seems more natural. I just go through slides many times and practice out loud and every time it sounds different since there is not script, but the important thing is that you know what you are talking about❤

Ginny: “Why is my heart racing?”
Me: Because you’re a BADASS standing on business.

Love it here 🎉

Honestly, these presentations are just preparations for conferences and stuff where you actually need to make connections etc. In my experience, asking really good questions and thinking about things carefully during other people's presentations translates to just as much visibility and presence.

the caffeine cutting back thing is so real. i swear the “one more coffee” math never works. Axalem sounds less chaotic than my current espresso roulette.

I love watching your study vlogs because they're so chill and not over stimulating. When I watch them between breaks, I don't feel like my brain melted, I still keep my momentum ❤️

Your makeup is so smooth, we need a tutorial! Or maybe that's your skin, I don't know. But I do love your makeup look, especially the nude flat lips

Hi there I'm new to your channel it's so nice to see that there are still Study vlogs that focuses on studying and not the person trying to be a beauty influencer.
And you're being yourself, wow takes me back to the 2021 study vlogs.
