Hi, I'm nagomi ๐ธ
Welcome to a slow, rainy day in Jimbocho โ
Tokyo's "book town,"
where the world's largest cluster of secondhand bookshops
sits quietly beside retro cafรฉs,
curry counters, and the old streets of Kanda.
In this video, we wander 130-year-old bookstores,
sip coffee chosen bean by bean,
ride a Showa-era manual elevator up to a hidden curry shop,
read among 5,000 books in a tiny cafรฉ,
and walk on through old Kanda and Ochanomizu โ
a phantom railway station,
a beautiful arched bridge over the river, and a 1,300-year-old shrine.
It's the quiet, everyday Tokyo that most tourists walk right past.
Come take a slow trip with me. โ๏ธ๐
