I love how his acting immediately gets better when he holds a gun

“Not putting on an act, but putting on the truth.”

- Dean Learner, 2004.

"When I heard my wife died, I could barely finish my lunch" - gets me every time

fires shotgun "knock it off you two, this is a hospital!"

I think my favorite thing about his character is that he's supposed to be the old guy when he looks even younger than the main cast.

Thornton Reed might be my favourite character of all time

"Understood?" "As crystal."

"That means I could backtrack 10% and I'd still be behind him 100%"

HAHAHAHAHA

it's amazing how he manages to play 2 characters at once

0:37 That whole bit never ceases to crack me up. "Uh, huh. Bye."

“Wait… I have more things to say.”

Truly masterful dialogue

i could barely finish my lunch

I said to Garth , " I'm not an actor"

' one of the main reasons i went into medicine was for the laughs '--great.

1:31 Dagless stands still

Thornton Reed: “Not so fast, mister!”

"I beg your pudding" 😂

I don't understand what's so funny about him hitting the door with his shotgun but it gets me every time

No inclusion of "Cool it Sanchez or you'll get a knuckle supper"

Hits thumbs down button

"23 hours and 59 minutes... Don't make me stand here and count." 🤣😂

I love how tall Thornton becomes in just that one shot, towering over the doctor.
