Scratched last night on the 8 ball in a hill hill race. I knew the rail cut shot was a natural scratch. I shot it anyway. Dr. Dave posted this video today to remind me of the basics again. Thanks, Dave.

As most of time Dr. Dave taught me a thing or two.

it just so happens that i've been having difficulty nailing these shots lately. your videos are timely as ever

FINALLY! The video we have all been waiting for. These shots can end a run quickly. The worst is when you blow one of these on your final ball.

Never seen the “hype “feature before. I sent 80”hype points” your way Dave. Hopefully that helps in someway lol.

It's fascinating that you, for the sake of your tutorials, have invented a (simple and practical) method of explicating (induced) spin!

Pretty sure Dr. Dave saw me miss like 5 of these in a row yesterday and got YouTube to recommend this to me…

This by far is the best rail video I’ve seen. The combo of slow mo camera with the explanations are very helpful! Thanks Dave

This has singlehandedly shown me what I was doin wrong

It’s always about hitting the ball right, good info

The last shot is one of my favorites. I place a second ball on the rail about 3 diamonds behind your 11 ball, and then ask my friends to make the 11 first and then get position on the 2nd ball to make it in the same pocket.

I've been a SL7 in APA 8-ball since 2018 and the reasoning behind making these shots and cue ball reaction has always been from instinct and hit or miss. I've even taught to hit the "V" or ball and rail at the same time for cut shots. This video will elevate my game to the next level and help coaching my team with more understanding. Thanks Dr. Dave!

Probably the BEST video I have watched that shows ALMOST EVERY situation I face in each league match, 8 ball AND 9 ball match, I have EVER played...

Not all tho....

Still have to watch one for when the opponent has played a great safe shot.....
