The fact that you'd rather save the wolf than have a perfectly optimized run because of your dog is so fucking wholesome. I'm having such a terrible night mentally and that actually put such a smile on my face. Doubt you'll ever see this cause its an old vid but thanks man.

“If you’re watching just to see me use the Chicago sweeper I hope you’re enjoying the video” I didn’t expect to be called out like that 😂 but I am yes

At the clock tower, if you pull the lever for the ball and immediately start the lift, the Gloria las plaga guy will spawn and get wrecked by the ball

I may be 3 years late, but I finally got my Cat ears and Platinum.
Thanks for the video man. It really helped a lot.

This man single handedly increased my attention span by 10 fold

This guy single handedly raised my hopes for getting those cat ears from 0 to 1000 in a matter of seconds. You are a legend my guy.

This is definitely an S+ guide. Relaxing gameplay, calm voice, constant reassurance, full play-through, and very helpful. This guide helped me get my cat ears and I’m forever grateful. Thank you Mr.Extriaa.

So, for anyone who doesn't know, on the clock tower part when you reach the top of the stairs and are going to start the lift, if you pull the lever to drop a spike ball to roll down them, if you immediately jump down and pull the lift lever the spike ball will actually hit the first Red Robe guy because he comes running up to the small space next to you but the spike ball will hit him before he reaches it.  Saving you pelting any ammo into him.  I discovered this by accident when I was trying to speed run and pulled the lever trying to jump down from the ledge first.  It was hilarious seeing it hit him and hearing him scream as he's crushed by it lol.

I'm genuinely in awe of how well you handled the village portion of this run.  Very nicely done.

It's been 11 months since this was posted but thanks to you I finally got cat ears! These guides are so amazing so thank you!

Guys, if you can spend a few bucks in a golden ticket for Chicago so you can get unlimited ammo at first time you meet the merchant. It's totally worthy it.

Even though this vid is already 2 years old. i wanted to chime in and leave my thanks for this amazing guide. Was alot slower that you, but still managed to get it in 4h32mins, thus netting me the trophies for hardcore and standard as well :) Especially the village section helped me so much.

Just finished my run in 4:50:47 using this guide. I was nowhere perfect, fumbled a lot of times especially against El Gigante and in the cabin fight and still managed to do it with more than 30 minutes to spare.

Just wanna let you know that this is truly the best guide to S+ in YouTube and you're still helping people months after the release of the game. Thank you so much and keep the great work.

Man I'm doing my S+ run with your video playing by my side and it feels like I have an awesome friend on the same couch just cheering me up!
It's so wholesome and cool, you're really making my day better <3
Thank you for your awesome guide, I do really appreciate it

20:28 you can save the dog by knifing the bear trap and it will not spawn in during the boss fight…in my opinion, this is the better option because the dog will be saved and then won’t be in danger either!

I just beat the game and came back to try professional and I couldn't get past town this video changes everything. Thanks

2 years later and this video is still helping people get the ears. There are a few videos out there, but this one is definitely the best. Thank you!!!!

Just a tip for Regenerators: if you aren't using a rifle/using the infinite Sweeper/Handcannon, you can just shoot it repeatedly even without hitting the plaga cores to kill it. It still has a maximum amount of damage it can take albeit it being very high. You can also use this against the Iron Maidens and the Iron Maiden SP.

Again, you can skip one quest from prior to Ch7 except for the Dangerous Mutt quest since there is a Blue Medallion 3 quest prior to the castle that gives 5x Spinel. That means you get the Special Upgrade Ticket once you enter the Castle instead of getting it in the Catapults area. Also you can sell the special weapons(especially the Handcannon if you have it) once you use up all of its ammo, and then just buy them back when you have to upgrade them. You probably won't do this with the Sweeper since SMG ammo is accessible from Ch2 while Magnum ammo comes very late.

Sweeper's stagger is still SMG-level which makes it amazing for casual/any difficulty runs and it's my own preferred weapon for S+ Pro runs. I can't use it with the Pinstripe though since I press reload too instinctively and it kills me.

Mannn, I don't usually comment but dudeeee I got my CAT EARS!?!!!! YEAHHHHH . It's been 3 years and your video is still helping ppl like me , thanks dude 😁.
