It's incredible how much "I want to be able to talk to my friends properly" can motivate someone to learn.

I'm sad with comments that said "she lost her charms now" bruh just watch her VR chat stream a few weeks ago she's still the same kusogaki from three years ago nothing changed at all she just better at communicating which is what she always wanted! cause she feels insecure that her english is bad before!

Kobo has improve a lot over the years. She's not physically picking her words anymore. Her sentences flows out now.

Ahh ya ya, michelin chef....what is michelin. I died

I actually noticed this when she was reacting to one of her old clips and you could hear how different she sounded, not just in sentence structure but speaking confidence.

I'm glad she still has her original accent, but she's amazingly comfortable speaking English now.
HoloID are built differently. I think I remember Kaela's English being a little off at first as well, but it's flawless now.
Kobo's special though, since some of her most popular memes involve her adorable broken English.

Kobo is a chatter bug! She really couldn’t express it when learning English but now…wow. Her Indonesian fans definitely knew this from day one, lol.

The fact that her english has gotten so good makes her sound even more like an actual child

I love that you can really hear her true personality shining through now that she's improved so much. Hearing her ID streams where she talks casually vs older EN streams is crazy, but now we have "the real" Kobo in English too, very happy for her to have expanded her fluency.

Throwing in "like" after every other word is fluent enough to me.

@DegeneReaper 1 year ago

Wow, it's not just her vocabulary and grammar, but her pronunciation is like...*way* better. Impressive

Semi-unrelated, but I always see those 0 IQ moments compilation videos, so it's kinda refreshing to also see these kinds of videos that also highlight some of the Holomem's wisdom
