History of the Most HATED Assassin in Brawl Stars

Savor - Brawl Stars

Since his release into Brawl Stars, Edgar has stood as one of the most iconic brawlers in the entire game. How did Edgar's history contribute to his reputation in the Brawl Stars community? Why does the general playerbase seem to hate Edgar so much, and why is he misunderstood? These are the questions I tackle in today's video, as I uncover who many say is the most toxic and low skill brawler in Brawl Stars.

Baffling how ridiculously unbalanced hypercharges are lmao. Like Mandy's can oneshot everyone from across the map with no warning, while Sprouts' does nothing 💀

Edgar, by its name and impression, its a rebellious child, which attracts most of the same energy. Quick moves, lack of thinking, reckless strategy, same as a hyperactive child. Gains huge amount of dopamine every time it clutches.

Why is Edgar horrible where if you die you're trash and if you win you're toxic, meanwhile Alli can LITERALLY DASH, TURN INVISIBLE, DOES INSANE DAMAGE, AND PEOPLE LOVE HER? WHY?

No AI slop, well edited pictures with actual footage and post from social media. Truthfull statements and valid insights on the topic. No fillers.

Quality content that made me sub instantly

My opinion on the topic : Edgar is a necessary element of the game, he is a "anchor", it is a necessary stat checker against throwers and low unload speed brawlers. Although he requires no micro skill, you really need to understand brawler interactions, their gadgets, theirs starpowers, their HP to be the most effective possible with edgar. Edgar is easy to play because he requires a lot of game knowledge, and that is why most beginners missplay with him, as they don't understand that they can't jump on a full HP Shelly

Edgar being free reminds of Buzz Lightyear being free and every game was one of the 3 versions of Buzz Lightyear.

In CRK, a character called sea fairy had the exact same fate, where she was once the most used and powerful characters in the game and meta, before being powercrept and nerfed down over the years

The worst part for this little rascal is that supercell planned to make him skilled with a kind of dodging mechanic (they never said how it worked but I suspect they would've removed his auto charge and make dodging enemy attacks charge it instead)but as you said they accepted his fate since a lot of players liked him for his accessibility and he's even in the free daily prizes for new players so making him skilled would really mess things up more than fixing them, that's why they abandoned the rework and never mentioned it ever again.

This brawl stars commentary video is one of the best one i have ever seen, just straight to the point, no yapping about other things. Love it.

Great video bro, I’m an Edgar main and you I’ll not believe how much hate I get from people when they find out 😢😢. In fact there was once I threw a 3v3 game (it was my wifi I swear) and my randoms added me as a friend just to invite me into their lobby and swear at me… good to see Edgar finally getting some recognition ❤❤
