These conspiracy theories about Labor and super is robbing these guys of the best investment option bar none. Their fears are going to keep them poor. It was the same scare in the early 90s that kept so many of us from paying extra into super. Cost me millions for no reason at all. Super has been safe for 34 years. It’s been considered a government scam for 34 years too. Don’t get sucked in by fearful people.

Wife salary 1000 every forthnight. I salary sacrifice 1500 hospital work and 1000 university work. So 3500 salary sacrifice total per forthnight. Looks bigger than property at retirement.

I've been in the same industry for 17 years. I am paid under an eba and part of that in the early days was forced salary sacrificing. For that i am thankful, because i am already hitting these retirement numbers in my 40s with 20 years of working life left.

The people in my company retiring today are hitting the 2 million mark at 60. So it says what decades of salary sacrificing can do. We are all blue collar uneducated people, so anyone can do it.

Division 293 is a ridiculously out of date 250k at 2017 now in 2026 alot of professionals have gone over this restricting any extra contributions because of a 29% inflation rate since 2017 the governemnt are on a massive tax grab and that is why 293 needs to be auto indexed to inflation same as tax brackets

Better than average.. 😂 the puzzle with the 6 key pieces is more important than your balance. I fear for new gen with million +mortgage will need to work longer just to pay it off and live a below aver retirement. Hope something changes for the better.. for all

very little info in here. Also big misunderstanding, what the median or average value does NOT tell how much you should have in ur super. I would at least double these value. 790K for a retirement is low NOW. if u want to retire in 30 years, there is another 30 years of compounding inflation coming ur way. so NO, these number are BS. .. maybe some of these 'adviser' grow some balls and add some compounding inflation graph over this,

I would like a video on getting to a $$ level where you do not have to depend on a single cent from the Govt. There is a more than reasonable chance that this Govt, and the ones that come after them, will destroy the retirement pension entirely. Nobody should plan on depending on the Govt when they get old.
