Great looking baskets! Have you ever used Fabri-tac to glue the rope finish? I find it to be a great glue to really hold fabric together.

im really enjoying your videos. When I use the $ tree rope the basket seems flimsy unlike the clothesline rope which is a little sturdier. I like the $ tree rope. yours looks sturdier than mine. am I doing something wrong.?

While I thought your ideas on putting a braid or scallop around the top were cute, you still didn’t show how to put the ends together to make a really neat finish or even show the completely finished row of braid or scallop. I can make beautiful rope bowls, but when it comes to finishing the very end of the rope, on mine it looks a bit messy. Bits of tape at the end don’t leave a neat finish.
