After years cleaning hotel rooms, I look at an Airbnb very differently than most guests do — because I know that unlike a hotel, there is often no trained housekeeping team, no daily turnover, and no inspection making sure things actually got cleaned between stays. It all depends on who cleans it, and you rarely know who that is.

In this video I go through eleven things I personally would never do in an Airbnb, and why — the items and habits a housekeeper knows get skipped, reused, or rushed when one person is turning over a whole place alone. No fear-mongering, just what I would watch out for and what I do instead.
