Pretty good day out bro...!!

That was a really good spot .. 2.25 grams that's awesome

Very nice honey hole spot, Andy, curious it doesn't continue upstream. We'd seen the other day Vic have a crack with a GM from a fellow he'd met on a creek, for a tiny speck, which is ever a surprise, what "Monster" gold the GM is capable of detecting. I'd like to see a larger gold nugget sniffed out with the GM, to hear what racket it raises, blipping hard right only. Maybe along a stretch of creeky bedrock, that there'd be, like in WA, stretches of harder material that accumulates the heavies, and here the waterway may have sloshed here, there, back again, over the barrier, so areas of exposed rock, but without water through it, except in flood might be also thought about, where the old-timers weren't able to blast away with their boom-sticks.
Anyhoo, just finished putting in a new rubber for the bait pump, the old layers sanded, new fabric-reinforced rubber in, a little too tight, squawked like a goose, now perfect. It's a shit for being metal and heavy, but it's bulletproof. Had been misplaced a decade, glad to retire the improvised plastic piping one, as the plastic were maybe three decades old. Next session I'll be straight to the spots minus distracting testing, going in last Saturday took three times as long as getting out, despite being thoroughly puffed. Reducing the carry load was key. A suggestion if a collapsible shaft might make taking along the GM a prospect, prospecting?! Cheers mate, other creeks near the honey hole will be nice to see.

Ive asked nugget shooter the same question but he never got back to me with the end bit of the cable how do u tighten it up and how for done the shaft cheers Andy

Also where do u get your stand for th Gm?

It looks like you're being careless with the first classification. I hope you're not throwing out any large nuggets. Why not use your detector on what's in the pan?
