But as a reminder to anyone watching this... If you're not ready to be up and moving by week two that doesn't mean you're sitting there and wallowing.
Everyone's body heals differently. I pushed myself after a surgery, was great after 2 weeks and then had a horrible complication cause I over did it.

If you feel pain or get tired easy, that is your body telling you that you are still healing! Listen to your body and heal at it's speed!

I just had a hysterectomy and i am recovering pretty well no regrets whatsoever and it was a less painful experience the best desicion i've ever made now i will be painfree every month.

I am so depressed..due to high grade dyskoriosis I have to have hysterectomy soon...I am scared...I have no family in UK..I am a single mother of 2 young children. I have no family...no husband...I am scared for my children because their father is not in touch and I am all alone.
I am dreading. Send prayers please for the sake of my children. I am praying for all u sisters too

This is the most positive video I’ve seen. I said I wasn’t going to cry 😢 but this video is so amazing. I’m having a hysterectomy in 3 days and this helped me so much.

Had my hysterectomy on 1-31-2020. Already had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer. My latest pet scan showed a hot spot ( possible cancer) in my uterus. Had a full hysterectomy. tumor had no cancer! Thanks for all your tips. For those of you having surgery hang in there, and take your time to recover.

God Bless You. I just had a radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer, and I am soooo grateful as well. 😄 No kids either. 😥 Thanks for sharing your testimony. 💜

Thank you for the video. I’m 24, single and have no kids yet 😔 I feel so shocked to find out that I have stage 2 Endometrial cancer and my doctor have scheduled me for a full hysterectomy in the next couple of days. Wish me a good luck and your video help me alot to prepare myself mentally.

Had laparoscopic surgery last week, released same day. Walked to the corner and back when I got home. Started stool softener at hospital and kept that and laxative up first two days to remain regular. After surgery constipation is worse than procedures. Women are strong, we do what we have too. I had a complete hysterectomy for endometriosis. Thank God I was able to have three children before then but I was 31

I have to have a hysterectomy due to fibroids. Im scared and nervous but watching this makes me feel a little better.

I had my robotic hysto 3 days ago for large fibroids that caused heavy crime scene bleeding and urinary incontinence . But I walked out the Recovery room 8 hrs later and progressed well after. Tip, along with your great advice to pamper yourself, i got a hotel room (still here ) and it is worth every penny!! Sterile, no cleaning, no cooking , Free breakfast and the bathroom is YOURS!!

Just wanted to say not everyone does that great recovering! I had a partial hysterectomy 5 weeks ago and I'm just now able to walk normally. Sleeping has been next to impossible and I didnt get back to work until 3 weeks when I planned on 2. I have an office job so it's doable but I couldnt imagine trying to leave the house before then. I have been active and doing as much as possible. EVERYONE is different so just listen to your body and do what you feel like you can. Also listen to your doctor! But even saying that I only took ibuprofen as I dont like pain meds much and it wasnt unbearable. It's just been more uncomfortable than anything. You got this!!

thanks for sharing , I agree that everyone's recovery is different so a person can be a doer , want to heal , move and NOT be wallowing and take time to heal . it really is up to the body and how it responds to the trauma of major surgery . so i just hope that all of us including myself is easy on themselves because sometimes we have to let our body do what it will do without placing unrealistic expectations on healing or ourselves .... because you can move and want to heal but you just cant force it . removing an organ is a huge deal , even if it is a uterus

I've been following your journey for a while and I've always suspected I've had endometriosis. I went in this week for a diagnostic laparoscopy where the doctor found endometriosis and my uterus was fused to my abdomen wall. She said due to the amount of scarring within my uterus and the endo that we need to discuss a hysterectomy at my post OP appointment. At this point I will do anything to stop the pain and struggle. Hoping that having this at 29 will save me years of suffering. So glad you're pain free!
