You can genuinely enjoy being alone.
You can spend an entire weekend without seeing anyone, ignore your phone, make your own plans, and feel completely comfortable in your own space.

But then, one night, you notice nobody checked on you.

And suddenly, being alone feels different.

Why can someone want solitude while still deeply wanting connection?

This documentary explores the psychology behind people who enjoy their own company but don't want to feel forgotten, ignored, or emotionally disconnected.

It looks at the difference between solitude and loneliness, the need for meaningful connection, and why wanting space doesn't necessarily mean wanting to be alone all the time.

If you've ever thought:

"I like being alone... but I don't want to feel lonely."

This video may feel strangely familiar.
