In this video, I crank a Picot hung hem with a pop of color. I show the whole sock being cranked from start to finish. I am using a 64 stitch cylinder on my Erlbacher Gearhart Speedster.

Thank you for this video! I’ve watched so many heel videos but never made it through a whole heel. I watched your video through once and then cast on my sock and followed along… I ended up with a sock!!! Flubbed the first try on the second sock, but the second try worked and now I have a pair. I did hand knit my toes but otherwise, a great success! Your pace is perfect to follow along with. Thank you again!!!

Great demo Aquilla! I like how you did a couple of rows of the contrasting colour before starting the toe. Such a great idea! I always change change colour for the heels and toes at the 6:00 mark before starting them and I always have the obvious joining point. How do you change colour on the heel?
