Base Text: John 11:1-46

Here we see one of the most extraordinary miracles performed by Jesus, recorded in the Bible. Everything was written for our instruction (Romans 15:4), and God wanted to communicate and teach us something. What does God want to teach us?

1) JESUS ​​IS THE SAME AND STILL WORKS MIRACLES
➔ Christ is the same. He has not changed – Hebrews 13:8
➔ His name still produces miracles – Acts 3:6
➔ Christ continued healing after leaving this earth – Acts 9:34

2) WHAT WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND FOR HIM TO ACT
➔ Ours is the responsibility to believe (conditionally) – John 11:40
➔ Learning to deal with the frustration of not seeing Him act in the past
➔ The comments of Lazarus' sisters and the audience – John 11:21, 32, 37
➔ Don't put everything off until the future
➔ The difference between faith (present) and hope (future) – 1 Corinthians 13:13

3) THE PURPOSE OF THE MIRACLE
➔ The miracle is not only intended to solve our problem, but to glorify God! ➔ The result of Lazarus' resurrection: they believed in Jesus – John 11:45
➔ The aftereffects of the miracle were no different – ​​John 12:9-11

The records of Christ's miracles should inspire our faith in Him (John 20:30-31). He still heals the sick, restores families, and meets needs. Dare to believe!
