It took me over 5 hours to get to Wakkanai Sta. , and then I visited the Cape Soya.

I was there! I tried from falling snow to taste when I reached the station. I loved it. Im coming back Jan 15, 2023. 💚💚💚🌍

Great video, Kuga-san! A part of Japan not usually seen, and I appreciate the geographical references — I knew that the tip of Hokkaido was just across from Sakhalin Island, but didn’t know it was that close.

Beautiful backcountry, until you get near the sea — then it’s rather forbidding, even ominous. Reminds me of the Aleutian Islands off of Alaska.

The deer are worth the two minutes behind schedule ❤️😁!

I was born in there Johnson USAF Base 1959. My dad was stationed there.
We went back 1965 . I went to the base elementary school. I will never forget how beautiful it was as well as the open air fish market. I would love to go back someday.
