"You wanna win? You wanna consistently win?"
2/3 of MLB owners: "No thank you"

The injured Dodgers pitchers could make up an entire starting rotation for another team and be considered one of the best lineups in baseball. The Dodgers still won the WS

Blake deserves a contract. I don’t care if we pay him 10 million and his arm falls off. He held the line with nothing in the tank. Just will power! Fucking stud. Thank you Blake!!

EVERY owner in baseball could afford Ohtani, Soto and any other major free agents. The fact that they pretend to be broke to pocket more of their money is pathetic. Don't be mad at LA, be mad at the owner who doesn't give a damn about putting a winning product on the field.

I dont understand why people say bought a title. I mean, if a player is great, you pay them great. All clubs try to buy a championship. Some just are willing to pay more.

AND THE PARADE IS ON FERNANDO VALENZUELA’S BIRTHDAY!!!
RIP
LETS GO DODGERS!!

The worst is spending money and NOT building.  Prime example being the cross town team the Angels

2020: Shortened season, not a real championship.

2023: These teams are so underwhelming, I’m not watching.

2024: That’s not fair, no matter who won, they BOUGHT that championship.

There’s just no pleasing you baseball fans is there?

Arte Moreno, the Angels owner, is worth 5 BILLION. This dude could have done exactly what the Dodgers did, but he chose not to. Shohei made the right choice - in his case, the grass was absolutely greener on the other side.

I don't understand how people are calling 2020 fake when all the teams were on the literal same playing field and everyone was healthy. Nobody had an advantage or disadvantage and the rosters were stacked with talent due to nobody being injured because the season was so short. All 30 teams had the same opportunity at full strength.

10:46 Love that you highlight Treinen. The way Dave goes up to the mound to ask him if he's good and Treinen telling him he wants to stay in. That's such a Hollywood moment

As a dodger fan I was happy to win the 2020 championship and never felt it was fake, it makes it sweeter that everyone else calls it fake, now we got another one so kiss our fucking rings!!!

I like that clip of treinen hustling to the bag to get that out at first. Compared to Cole not even attempting to cover first. Dodgers were going all out for the World Series.

After all these years of criticizing Roberts on moves..he put in a clinic 🫡

The only thing about 2020 that didn’t feel right was that we didn’t really get to celebrate traditionally with a parade.

Anyone who saw that 2020 post season; would see what a grind and challenging of a tournament it was.
Take a bit of tine and go watch that post season highlights.
The Braves gave us a hell of a Series and the Rays put up a fight forcing a game 6.
EVERY single team had the same chances to make it to the playoffs.
Also anyone talking about the dodgers buying a championship; Shut your mouths and worry about your own teams ownership actually investing into your team.
Dodgers 2024 Champs baby and we did it without trash cans!
-PEACE

Shohei is MVP of the season.  Without him, the Dodgers would not have won their Division and would not have been in the World Series.  He carried the Dodgers for much of the year.  He was also instrumental in bringing Yamamoto to the Dodgers.

The fact that Casparius, Knack, Honeywell and Hudson sacrificed themselves in game 4 to give Flaherty and bullpen some time to rest for game five was so clutch by Dave Roberts to do that (by the way we let Honeywell and the rest know how much we appreciated them for that during the parade celebration) I’m still in awe by what the Dodgers were able to do in this postseason under these conditions.

Give this dodgers team their flowers. They didn’t crumble they rose to the occasion.

I hate that people say the 2020 championship felt fake. All they went through and people call it fake... It is always a weird take.
