I would pre drill the holes in the wood to avoid the wood splitting especially at the ends if you are drilling across or through the gran of the wood

instead of using the lump hammer and damaging the wood, if you get a small off cut of wood and hold it against the piece youre knocking in then hit that with the hammer it stops you marking or damaging your good piece

Hey aaron. I want to use this style of stand for my 75 gallon tank which is L 49 in x W 19.5 in x H 21.25 in. I am just unsure about the dimensions. If you can help me i would greater appreciate it.

Very nice vid man. Instead of using a rubber mullet tho you could use a small off cut from your timber, put it on the surface of the wood and use a normal hammer to hit it in. Keep up the vids!
