Indian Ocean, 1977. In the dead of night, the freighter "Lucona" explodes and sinks within just two minutes. Six men die. What initially appears to be a tragic maritime accident turns out to be a cold-blooded insurance fraud—orchestrated by a man deeply connected to Austria's most powerful politicians.

Udo Proksch intends to make a fortune with a supposedly multi-million-dollar cargo and has a bomb planted on board. But as the investigation begins, the extent of his influence becomes clear: ministers, an elite circle of Viennese friends, and years of political entanglements transform the case into one of the biggest scandals in post-war Austrian history.

Luca and Laura delve into the case of Udo Proksch and the "Lucona"—a story of money, power, and a network that buried the truth for years on the ocean floor.
