Pedro was my favorite IC champ of all time.

This was 1982, so Vincent James was still in charge. He ran the WWE fairly, IMO. This is a match between two of the all-time greats in pro wrestling. Pedro Morales appealed to Puerto Ricans and Hispanics while Bruno Sammartino appealed to the Italian fan base.

I saw pedro as a kid wrestle in the 70s in wpb fl he was one of the greats  a legend

that was wrestling back then

Pedro was so underrated

Jimmy Snuka had one of the hardest gimmicks in wrestling.  He wrestled without shoes.  Doing that; your feet get banged up.

Pedro Morales was what is now the WWE Heavyweight Champion on August 8, 1971.

I went to school with Pedro Morales' son, Pedro, in Woodbridge, NJ, from 3rd grade up until high school graduation.  The dad sometimes showed up to school functions.  I didn't know much about wrestling back then all I knew is his father was famous which was told to me by the other kids in class.  The son tried to put me in a headlock once, tallest kid in class & nice to everyone.

my teacher is married to pedro morales

Great old school classic match.

I miss this kind of wrestling, you know why this is good? John Cena....you can't see him.

I wish Vince would release the Pedro / Bruno match from Shea stadium. It was like puerto Rico vs Italy in the big apple!

@ChadTheWrestleManiac Also, he held the now-defunct WWWF U.S.A. Heavyweight Championship.  This title was retired around 1977 or thereabouts.  The WWWF was the predecessor to the WWF, which is now the WWE.  In fact, when he was WWF champion, it was then called the WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation).  I hope I've answered your questions sufficiently.

he is also one of the best wrestlers puerto rico has ever give
r give

IF THE ENTIRE MATCH CAN'T BE SHOWN , WHY SHOW ANY OF IT ?

@ChadTheWrestleManiac Pedro Morales was the first person in history to hold all three WWF titles at some point in his career.  At that time, they were the World Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and 1/2 of the World Tag-Team Championship.  During the early to mid 80s, he began being used as enhancement, normally closing off one of the weekly WWF programs (either Superstars, Wrestling Challenge, All-American Wrestling, etc.) jobbing to a heel who was being pushed at the time.

Morales had great abs… Stuka worked his big soft gut like a pro!

i saw snuka in a studio match when he was rookie.  he had an awesome physique to start with.

Did Pablo Morales Ever Give Ivan Kololf A rematch
