Great review with excellent coverage of the strong and weaker aspects. Well done!

Thanks for the review. An account of having used it for a period of time is much more useful than a regular review. Thanks for helping us make an informed decision before dropping a couple hundred on this bag!

Great video Jason - I have just received my backpack and was keen to see how other folks have both packed it and used it and your content was perfect - thanks.

Thankyou, excellent video, excellent comments. You have just convinced me that this is not the ideal backpack for me, though it looks like an awesome backpack for someone.

Very Helpful!!

Side access should’ve been on the smaller 25 every day. Duel Water Bottle pockets needed to be on this one.

Jason, thank you for your superbly done video and review of this awesome backpack! I recently acquired this 35L size, which fits my 180-600 (lens hood reversed), Z8 with 24-120 f/4, and a Z7 with 14-30 f/4 lens, plus batteries, filters, and a few other items in the many mesh pockets. The expandable front compartment is an added bonus, as is the fact that it can stand vertically on its own. I agree that it is a premium quality bag, and seemingly built to last. I also like that it has load lifters on the comfortable shoulder straps, which I find many bags lack. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this camera backpack.

One of most genuine sounding reviews I’ve come across on YouTube. Great job sir! I really appreciate your perspective and that you pointed out the issues (which all bags have). I am curious though, is it not possible to mount a tripod vertically along the back centre area? Most photography backpacks I’ve seen have something there. Or maybe something could be rigged up that way?

I'm going on 3 years with mine. Holding up pretty well, pretty much my kitchen sink camera backpack now. For personal stuff I carry 3 cameras with me, a Nikon F5, Mamiya RB67, and a Nikon D850, single lens for the RB, Wide, zoom, and 50mm for the Nikons.

I have both the travel bag and the everyday bag, I wish they did a mix of these two and it would be the perfect bag.

Seems expensive, but lifetime warranty, and I saw a YouTuber who had the zipper fail and he had a new bag on his door step a few days later. I only have the 8 litre sling which is great and I just ordered the 25 litre one for an upcoming trip.

Cool, I enjoyed your video. I just purchased this bag. Even for me, its a bit of a stretch to need a bag like this, but I got a good deal and decided why not. It will last me a very long time

The main zipper broke on mine, not sure how but it was just the metL zipper tab you pull on. I took the nylon zipper pull and put it through the locking hole on the zipper and use it that way. Meanwhile I emailed Nomatic to see if they had a zipper I could replace and they just sent me a new bag. So now I kinda have 2 thanks to the extreme warranty of Nomatic.

I'd agree the side access sucks and a second water bottle pocket would have been great. I also don't use the RFID but the extendable packing pocket fits all the clothes I need for a weekend and I use all the time, it's actually why I bought the pack and it's been the feature most worth it to me. Plus its a little larger so I can fit all my gear. I've never complained that its not big enough, but I do want a smaller bag for some smaller day trips. Something about half the size. Which I haven't found yet.
