The fact that old ranger ambushed Cooper shows he still got it.

Cool to see a vet ranger look actually threatening unlike last season

Since we are in the Mojave, i gonna take a little gamble and say that the NCR battalion at East will infact be alive and will make a comeback.

I love that it implies Coop worked regularly as a mercenary for the NCRA and possibly worked closely with the Rangers, he knew Camp Golf and knew that they’d be the best help he can get to rescue Lucy from the Legion.

cooper should remember those words. Means if his family's dead they deserved it.

Just rewatched this scene and slowed it down. Didn't realize right away that there were 3 rangers in total and that the ranger that hit the ghoul wasn't the same one sitting at the hideout

Man what is the Ghoul’s obsession with carelessly leaving behind meds; first he filled his hat with them instead of taking a full box, now he’s just dropped a vial on the floor

This gels with what I suspected pretty well. I theorized that after Shady Sands was destroyed and word reached them, the Mojave expedition of the NCR would have withdrawn from Nevada and returned to California.
Any troopers left in Vegas are either stragglers, renegades, or a skeleton crew.

2:48 Ahh man! They played the Fallout theme. 😂 love it.

The Bear still has claws in the Mojave! And God willing the Bear Flag shall fly over the Golf once again!

Calling it, by the end of the season we get an all out return of the NCR, hope at least, if not, that’s still fine but I know for a fact there’s a ton left

Hopefully we get some veteran rangers as ghouls

I was eager to see anyone who fight liks a soldier, and NCR Rangers did
BOS is tincan raiders
Legion is rome Cosplay raiders
Khans is just raiders
I guess NCR is only hope for now

Interesting to see that aside from Captain Rodriguez. There were in fact two Rangers in the intro, the old man was at the back pointing his rifle at the Ghoul, while the other ranger who smacked the Ghoul is another Ranger that we didn't see in the next scene.

Edit:
He's in the background at 1:47 to 1:48, thanks for pointing that out.

All the effort I put into keeping these bastards alive in Fallout: New Vegas, WASTED!

"For the Republic!"

0:37 that was too harsh

3:10 He dropped 1🫙 vile! 👀😅

Yoooo it's Uncle Rico lmaooooooo
