Great summary. The 621 mile service (via the workshop manual available on the AF1racing site) states you should do an 'engine flush', but I just did another oil swap 200 miles after the first service (making it 821 miles for the second oil change). Removing the lower fairings is totally necessary unless you want spent oil to splash on them. Very Ford centric design.

Minor correction - here's the oil change steps per the official workshop manual:
Add 2.2 liters of 10w-50 oil (preferably Castrol brand for motorcycles) after filling the oil filter to 1/3 its capacity.
Run the engine for a few minutes, then switch it off.
Wait about 30 seconds, then check the level again in the sight glass.
Top up if necessary so the level is close to MAX.
After which, yes, ride it 10 miles and do an inspection.

Tip: if you don't have a way to balance the bike lifted evenly, put your camera to record a video looking at the sight glass as you balance the bike sitting on the seat. Provides roughly the same result.

Hi, really enjoy watching your RS457 videos. We’re lucky here in the UK as we don’t have to do the indicator modification, it makes the bike look a lot cleaner. I do cringe though when you get close to the paintwork and frame with that bulky watch of yours😳lol. Keep up the good work👍

Feels much more smoother abd refined

Hey Alfa, 457 owner here who did an oil change pre watching this video, my manual states 2.7L and my bike is massively overfilled. Not sure if it’s an error but it’s also listed as that on CBCMoto’s site for their oil change kit.
