I’ve done several years of volunteer recovery here in Nevada. You’re hitting that kinetic super hard with a ton of slack. Try less slack and a softer bump. Let the kinetic stretch do the work. Best to you.

Tundra needs RCV axles and a Re-Gear

My 14 tundra 4x has 107k…only ever had to replace the tailgate lift strut….. 60k was towing 10,000 lb trailer.  The thing is a beast and the atrac works outstanding

Acted as if the tundra went into limp mode. If that ever happens, turn the truck off, remove the key from the ignition, and open your door. That will turn off all power to the system, and then start it up and see if that fixes it.
Some people think just shutting the engine off and restarting their vehicles will reset things, but that doesn't work with most vehicles because they have a time delay before all power is cut. It will leave things like the radio, windows, or lights working until you open the door, which means power is still going to the system until you remove the key and open your door. If that makes sense. lol.

Damn John, that looked frustrating but you still did a great job!! Hope you get the Tundra fixed. Love your channel ❤ be blessed!!

Sand tow, look into the marlin crawler RCV heavy duty axles!

If a tundra has these symptoms as in this video I always use this trick:
Find a nice size hill
Put truck in neutral
Key on key off 3 times
Then exit truck go to the tailgate and gently push truck down hill.
Lastly collect insurance 🤙🏽

24:24....  Closed captions... I will just beat off onto the sidewalk...  👌

RCV are the only axles that will hold up

Coolest truck you have, hopefully you can figure out the axle issue, i maybe biased since i have a 19 trd sport 4x4, love watching yours make easy work out of railed out vehicles ( when its running right)

This is 3 months old, but if you are still killing CV axles.. get a diff drop kit to correct the cv angles.

Get yourself some RCV front axles

contact "The Driveline Shop" they make custome axles and Drive shafts, they might be able to give you very strong cv axles. but also remember if somethings gonna break its gonna break the weakest componet. you guys know stuff breaks. so next in line after you find a set of cv'x that dont break it might be the front drive shaft or worse the t case itself. last thing you guys want is the tundra legit stranded.

A video out on a Wednesday… AWESOME!

I'm getting good grip from the 50 series tires my alpines bumpin but I need the volume higher 😂😂😂sorry reminiscing old songs lol

Tundra is a damn BEAST!!!!

I've always heard great things about RCV

I found you on shorts but i fw the long form vids too alot

The more you lift, the more you break. Also, the tires are more than you need as you could do fine with properly aired down 33s. I used to live in Port Aransas, Texas and pulled out people all the time with a stock '83 Hi Lux. No major mods at all, and it never broke. It did rust like crazy, though. That sucked.
