I have been many times to this monastery in the past 25 years for silence retreats. I had the blessing to meet a few of the founding monks, like Father Lawrence, a tall man with a kind heart who used to get before any other of the monks to the choir to pray. May God bless them with many vocations

I and another priest that serves here with me have been to 2 Lenten Retreats at that beautiful place of spiritual rest. I also recall with pleasure the time I spent conversing with Br. Mark.

I am an elderly Catholic, single male. I can't seem to overcome the pain, stress and depression whenever a loved one is ill. The memories of losing my parents msny years ago still haunts me. What shall I do to overcome all these pain and miserable feelings ? How do Catholic monks handle this situation?

What a glorious life dedicated to God, pray, self-sacrifice, and love for all creation.

The initial commentary at around 1:19 is honestly one of the best (And Simple) explanations for a call to religious life.

Beautiful, impactful video of my favorite prayer place in the world. Many thanks to Georgia Strategy Group for this awe-inspiring presentation of the Monastery and the Monks. God Bless you all.

If there’s a multiverse, the starting area is always the lowest quaint. Before The Creation, the axis.

I would go nuts if I had to wear those uniforms in the hot, humid Georgia summers without any A/C.
