This scene is golden:

-"Your first husband also disappeared"
-"But that was his job. He was an illusionist"
-"But he never reappeared"
-"he wasn't a very good illusionist"

So funny!! XD

Absolute blast of a movie

"LET US IN, LET US IN!"
"LET US OUT, LET US OUT!!!"

To answer Eric's question about the police arriving: it is almost bang on exact to 45 minutes when the captain knocks on the door posing as an evangelist. It's my favorite trivia bit from this movie and greatly enhanced my appreciation for the craft of the script and pacing, which was already high.

"So, can I try to solve the mystery and guess the killer as we go?" you can certainly try!

To this day if hear someone..anyone..say: “To make a long story short..”
I have to say “too late!”
It’s gotten me in trouble more than once. 😂

The wordplay in this movie will never cease to be phenomenal. 😂

Tim Curry is the Bacon of movies. You can add him to anything and he instantly makes it better

Murder By Death (1976) is another great, classic murder mystery spoof set in a mansion, with a star-studded cast, spoofing several famous TV and movie detectives such as Miss Marple and Charlie Chan. Like Clue, it's a must-watch.

One of my favorite memes says, “Lord grant me the manic energy of Tim Curry in the third act of Clue where he re-enacts the movie in its entirety for the other characters BY HIMSELF.”

This movie would never have worked with anyone else in the cast. It’s one of those rare gems where everything is just perfect.

I was in a production of Clue during high school, and we were lucky enough to receive a message from Christopher Lloyd himself! Even more amazing was that I played Professor Plum! Happy to see that you guys are reacting to this!
