🔥 Today I'm demoing and reviewing the Blackskycraft RCVR OP-2 (Receiver Operator 2), a powerful dual-filter guitar pedal built for players who love sound design, experimental guitar, and pushing pedals far beyond traditional overdrive and distortion.

At its core, the RCVR OP-2 combines a Notch Filter with an independent multi-mode filter featuring low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass modes, giving you an incredible amount of control over your guitar's frequency spectrum. Whether you're creating ambient textures, synth-like sweeps, resonant filter effects, shoegaze walls of sound, industrial noise, or completely reshaping fuzz, distortion, delay, and reverb, this pedal opens up an entirely new world of tones.

In this demo/review, I explore the RCVR OP-2 with a variety of pedal combinations, showing everything from subtle EQ sculpting to extreme resonant filtering and chaotic experimental sounds. If you're into boutique guitar pedals, ambient guitar, post-rock, shoegaze, noise rock, drone, electronic-inspired guitar tones, or creative pedalboard routing, this is a pedal you need to hear.

Timestamps are below so you can jump directly to the sounds that interest you most.

BIG THANKS to BLACKSKYCRAFT for sending me the RCVR OP-2!
