We've finally completed one of the most labor-intensive stages—plastering the walls! The walls are now perfectly smooth, and the inside of the house is starting to take on a completely different, livable appearance. We've put off painting until spring to give the walls time to dry, as fall and winter are just around the corner.

Now we're focusing all our attention and energy on heating. We need to get it done before the cold weather sets in: the rough is starting to grow row after row, and soon the house will feel the long-awaited warmth.
