Celtic 0-1 Rangers - Peter Martin's reaction to Martin O'Neill's Celtic losing at home to Derek McInnes' Rangers. Peter Martin reacts to Derek McInnes' Rangers winning at Celtic Park to complete back-to-back Old Firm wins over Martin O'Neill's Celtic, and asks the question every Celtic fan is asking after another humiliation: is it time to sack the board, sack the manager, or both?

Why did Celtic lose to Rangers again?
Peter Martin does not hold back. Rangers, he says, were "quite simply magnificent", getting into Celtic's faces exactly as they did in the 3-0 win at Ibrox a week earlier, bossing the game and creating chance after chance. Ryan Naderi got the only goal after the Celtic keeper spilled a shot into his path, and was the star man. Celtic, going 3-5-2, looked weak at the back and managed just one shot on target all afternoon, Kieran Tierney off the bar, with Callum McGregor exposed and a 35-year-old James Forrest relied upon to rescue it.

Should Celtic sack the board or the manager?
This is the heart of it. Peter argues Martin O'Neill has been "left exposed" by a Celtic board he has "long and weary" criticised, a board he calls "shambolic", "all about accountancy and nothing about ambition", with players sold and profit banked instead of a squad built. His verdict: O'Neill perhaps should have walked after the Scottish Cup final with his legacy intact, but if the board sacks him now, "the board has got to go", and Dermot Desmond with them. He points to a brutal run of fixtures and the November AGM as the next flashpoints.

Was Derek McInnes' Rangers really that good?
Yes. Peter hands the Rangers back three "10 out of 10", credits McInnes with transforming the side into a well-drilled, spirited unit now just two points behind Celtic, and asks whether the manager once denied the title on the final day as Hearts boss can now win it with Rangers.

What happened across the rest of the Scottish Premiership?
A full round-up: Kilmarnock 1-1 Hearts, Dundee 2-1 Motherwell, St Johnstone 1-1 Falkirk, St Mirren 0-3 Dundee United on Jim Goodwin's return, and Hibs 1-1 Aberdeen as the search for David Gray's successor begins.
