To those wondering, the film in which Hugh did an american accent is "Our Sons" (1991), decent enough television film with Julie Andrews and Ann-Margret. And he's fine in it, he just likes the self-deprecating humour too much.

My partner and I both remember Robbie Williams telling Michael Parkinson that his dad sang "let's have a cup of tea" over the Parkinson theme tune ending.  But we can't find a clip of it anywhere.  Anyone remember this or have a clip of it?
