We were on this cruise with you both...nice to have met you. It was such a let down and the bus ride to Budapest was close to nightmare. Thank you for giving an honest review.

Low River is obviously not the cruise line’s fault, but the way they handled it was. I wouldn’t even think of booking with them ever after seeing how this was handled.

Paying for an all inclusive cruise at $1400 a night, and you end up at a Marriott and paying for your own drinks and food? No way I would be as nice as you. They need to refund your money!! Why couldn’t they leave the passengers on the ship where the food was free and your room was fantastic? I am shocked they even think they can get away with this. Twin beds when you had a king on the boat is unacceptable. Get your money back!!

It is like paying for a fancy restaurant, but because they where out of meat, they sent you to to McDonalds, but kept the money for what you ordered.

the other lines are giving refunds and credits. They dared to ask for good ratings when they offer no future cruise credit? How dare they.

This is not the first time that they've had low water. They should have a playbook all figured out on how to give you as much of the value that you paid for as possilbe, with the same consistent, quality experience.

The fact that there was misinformation, what appears to be deliberately delayed information, and the utter lack of reasonable compensation or response seals the deal for me. I will be avoiding this river cruise company, and it certainly won't be one I recommend to clients either.

I am a travel advisor, and this will definitely give me pause when booking my clients with Uniworld. You are correct; things happen, but how a company handles the situation matters. Here's what you do - send an email requesting a partial refund, and kindly inform them that if the next email you receive does not confirm a refund, you will have no other choice but to file a credit card dispute.

Partial refund for the missed days seems completely appropriate here. You really took this in stride. I would’ve been very upset.

Blatantly lying about the duration of the transfer to Budapest, and the hotel accommodation on offer. Slagging off other river cruise lines. Offering a small meal allowance insufficient to cover the cost of a meal. Offering zero goodwill.
And they expect a favourable review?
What outrageous behaviour!

Well, I have to say, even though the lack of water isn't Uniworld's fault, the way they've handled it is more than enough for me to never go near them!
