There is nothing nicer than birds singing  thank you I appreciate your videos.

Eventually, all our graves will go unattended.

The crypts where the coffins are just on the shelves are much nicer than the ones that have cloth covering them. When they deteriorate they just look creepy. I like the Italian cemetery’s much better with more trees & shrubs.

Thanks Dan for another respectful video. I am torn with the deceased pictures, the older ones give you a clear idea of how they looked in life, the children tears at my heart they were robbed of along happy life.

In Australia you either get cremated,  buried or put in a wall (morsaleum) out of sight out of mind. You show us the reality of the deceased. Thank you

You don't think those handles are missing because they were copper and stolen, do you? I hope not, those people are out of control.

I really wish I would find that my ancestors from way back when had an old Mausoleum somewhere. I would take such good care of it.😢

These structures are works of art, obviously reflecting high esteem for the interred.

Sad to see that one open like that 😢 but it happens everywhere I'm sure ❤

Nothing better than a lung full of miasma from an open tomb! But the sky makes up for it.

So Beautiful. The broken glass and the cement lid off makes me sad I hope it gets fixed. Thank you for showing this Beauty. 🙏🏼

3:12  I had the same Mary with the blue cloak when I was a child. I'm guessing my 86yo mum still has it somewhere 😂

I was excited to see you pop up in another beautiful cemetery, when you walked up to the monument for Tarrafal. Just want to thank you for randomly bringing me awareness of the concentration camps I never knew existed in Cape Verde, I'm half Cape Verdean and I'm happy to learn another part of my history! ❤

Totally amazing architecture! True craftsmen! So sad some are forgotten.

I really dig the very old graveyards😊Thanks for the tour mate

Thanks Dan  another great video .We never know what you are going to come across.  That was a shocker  the open grave think I  would have run a mile lol RIP to all the people there .

This may be a dumb question but did you got through the storm Dan? I don’t remember what you said. I hope they büild something temporary for the coffin. You’re doing a great job documenting everything.

What beautiful little mausoleums. Rest in peace, all of you.

Some of these mausoleums are beautiful the one with like the rosary beads and like the containers in it and the pictures that goes that one was really nice and all the white like lace stuff that was beautiful also I'm kind of surprised that they still use glass for the door since glass usually breaks easy and but I guess it's the way that the glass looks that they keep doing it maybe

I always think about the people dying back then of contagious diseases and if not buried 6 feet down, the contagions being in the mausoleums and air you breathe putting your face up to them with broken glass. The plagues and serious pandemics that never had cures.
