Excellent, thank you. I’m anticipating Fuji delivering a medium format rangefinder this fall. So what you described as the X Pro2’s strengths and weaknesses was very helpful to me.

Nice summary of the cameras thanx.

Thanks for making this comparison video. The X-H1 is a big step forward in terms of video features for Fujifilm, but for photography, I still prefer my X-Pro 2. Though, for off-camera flash photography, the X-T2 is a better option.

You mentioned the XT3 is coming out which is something I have not ever heard or read about from fujifilm It’s only rumor. A currently circulating story of an unverified account. If you have access to any article for publication by Fujifilm please share it. I enjoy your video mainly because I have the same two cameras ,including the 18-55mm lens. Looking forward for your next video on either or both cameras. Thank you for sharing.

People do not have a problem telling if they are in video and stills mode. That was just you forgetting. Happens to the best of us.

Nice video. Thanks! I just got my XH-1 and am enjoying it. Wanted to mention that there is a menu option to change the exposure compensation to an on/off button. This made it much easier for me because I now don't have to hold the button down while spinning the dial to adjust exposure.

thx man i was completely confused about the specs of the h1 compared to the xpro2
the IBIS sounds nice for my older adapted lenses but the trade off for the smaller more beautiful xpro2 body with the for me more confident (xpro1 user) layout of the dials seems not worth for me.
still eyeing the xpro2 :)

Played around with a colleagues X-H1 for a day or so and while a nice rig, I think, I'll wait for the X-T3 (being officialy announced at Photokina in a few months). Besides not really into video shooting which seems to be this camera's strong suit. I am quite happy with my X-T2/XPro2 and XE-2s for the time being.

The 16-55 lens works on the H1 because the IBIS provides the optical stabilization. You imply it does not.

I'm noticing stutter in all the slow panning shots - is that evident in the original footage, or only after YouTube conversion? It's a concern for me, as I'm considering the X-H1. Otherwise, thanks for the comprehensive review that's based on actual experience with the camera. I wonder, are the tracking issues related to the pull-focus speed setting?

Compensation dial: No need to hold the button and rotate the dial.I have just set the button as ON, permanently, and use the back wheel for this purpose only. At the end the compensation will be on the back rather on the top…. 10mm away from the original position! On the top plate u will have the ISO and SS as on X-T or X-pro + front dial for aperture if the lens doesn’t have physical stops.

I have a7riii and i was looking for a second body, but not Sony one. I am so far a wedding photographer. The thing that stops me of buying the xh1 is the battery life :( Yeah, you may say - grip it, but... somehow i believe if i am able to shoot 1k photos with 1 regular z1000 and small body, i should have it in the second body.

I wonder if the intermittent lag and exposure stutter on startup is a common problem. My XH1 definitely has this but I asked on the facebook page for xh1 and seems like a lot of people say its quicker to startup than their other X cams. My XPro 2 definitely feels faster operationally right now.
