Converted to orthodoxy along with my whole family after 30+ years as an evangelical. Best thing that ever happened to us, Christ is risen!  ☦️☦️☦️

Converted to orthodoxy along with my whole family

I was a Baptist my whole life. I plan on visiting a Orthodox Church this week. I pray I will be open and God gives me peace. Great podcast

Father Thomas is my Priest, a true man of God!!

I was raised LDS and at 23 I left that church. Last year at 42 years old I  discovered Orthodoxy. It saved my life

Fr. Thomas is awesome. Cradle Orthodox here and he’s brought me closer to my faith more than any other priest I’ve encountered.

I grew up Jehovahs Witness and when I left vowed to never be part of “organized religion” due to all the religious trauma. After investigating early Church history, with much trepidation, went to Orthodoxy in 2009. It’s been SO incredibly healing. It truly has gotten better and better! Grateful to God for leading me to His Church!

God revealed the Orthodox Church to me in a rather odd way.  Its not out of the ordinary for God to speak, or teach, me in an odd way, but this was a very different thing He showed me. I had walked away from Protestantism 8 years before, but still longed for a group of like minded Christians to worship with. The more I studied Orthodox theology and dogma, the more I realized that I had been Orthodox all along and didn't know it had a name. I left the first Liturgy shell shocked, and sat in my truck in the parking lot for 10-15 minutes trying to understand what I had just witnessed. I committed myself to Orthodoxy before I left the parking lot.

This is what roots of orthodoxy should’ve been. Well done.

I grew up Southern Baptist.... this year on Dec. 17th i celebrate 4 years of joining the Eastern Orthodox Church ☦️ Holy Theotokos pray for us!

Wow, God placed this video in my life at just the right time

Great interview! I was raised Baptist, licensed and preached many times, ordained in the Charismatic Episcopal
Church in the late 90s, baptized Orthodox in 2018. At 65, happy to be an altar server.

I was baptist then was introduced to the Methodist church, but always thought these were lacking. I was spiritually weak. I fell down when hardships came. And everything this man has said is what I would say too. Orthodox Christianity saved me, brought me back to Christ. I never turned my back but I did get back in the drivers seat. I have changed my life and am not the person I was before. Christ is great and I walked the path I did for a reason and it’s made me stronger in Christ. Spiritually and mentally stronger. I live in rural North Carolina so not many other orthodox Christians around but I am actively seeking them out and spreading the knowledge of orthodoxy.

American, born into a southern baptist home, and rebelled as an agnostic for years now. I’m 34 and have rekindled my relationship with Jesus recently. I know I am not a Baptist, but I’m interested in orthodoxy, so this interview was a real blessing to listen to. Many thanks 🙏

Former Baptist myself, now 27 years in Orthodoxy. One thing I have learned is that I no longer rack my brain demanding answers for mysteries that are beyond me. I am very comfortable with ambiguity.

Glory to God!!! ☦️☦️💪💪♥️♥️📿📿😍😍

Converted myself and my children to Orthodoxy. I was raised Baptist. We were just Baptized in our local Antiochian parish! Grateful to God for bringing us home ☦️

Every single moment with Fr. Thomas is a delight. If you haven't met or spoken with him, you have no idea what a blessing you are missing.

I converted from Confessional Lutheranism with my whole family 3 years ago. It's been such a blessing.

It wasn't even a few days since I last saw Father Thomas in person and he's the exact same person on and off camera. This was such an amazing interview!
