◼︎ On August 4, 1980, Chun Doo-hwan's National Security Council established the Samcheong Re-education Camp.
This program investigates how those who experienced the Samcheong Re-education Camp are living now, and traces the causes of death and the truth behind the 52 individuals who lost their lives during the re-education process. It also vividly recreates the reality of the "re-education" conducted at the camp and life in the detention center. Additionally, the program features appearances by detectives who arrested the targets at the time, military witnesses at the time of the deaths, and Assemblyman Kang Chang-sung—a former Commander of the Security Command who underwent the re-education—to testify about the events of that era.
