We just added 2 juvenile milk frogs to our family. So far so good . We are being feet observant and feeding appropriate sized food. We know they tend to be more “fragile”at this stage & can get stressed so we’ve made a point to keep them in enclosures that they can feel cozy in & wok well for adding crickets! Thanks for this video! :-)
Dubia roaches do not have a hard exoskeleton, crickets can carry disease without u knowing. I feed mine dubias and they love them and they have more nutrition than a. Cricket
Wow, just found your channel. Do you work with White's Tree Frogs at all? I just got one and it really is fantastic, it contrasts substantially in behaviour with my pixie frog (well, no surprise there). I'd considered Amazon Milk Frogs before, but backed away as they were going to be too expensive where I am at this time of year. I probably will still obtain some. I'd love to hear what you standards of care are for White's Tree frogs and also what you think of Cricket dusting with Calcium/D3 or vitamins? Since tree frogs tend to seem to like to hunt their own prey, do you find gut loading more effective?
This video has some neat advice. One question: do milk frogs that are housed alone croak? I dont mind the croaking sound (i actually like it) but i dont wanna keep my family up. Also, is a 22 gallon a good size? I have a huge tank but its an aquarium so the frog will only have 22 gal due to the soil and wall. Also, i currently have a water fall in there. If that a bad idea to have? Thanks for the vid btw, i wanna make sure im ready to keep these guys. Im keeping reptiles, but i am new to frogs.
