6 accounting jobs paying 45K to 60K starting are hiring right now — fully remote, no prior accounting experience, no degree required. I'm Khalil, a CPA and accounting manager making 120K, and I'm breaking down exactly what each role does, what it pays, and how fast you can move up.

Companies are desperate to fill entry-level accounting roles, and most of them can be done fully remote from your laptop. These are stable, recession-proof jobs that run on following a process — not complex math, not years of experience. In this video I walk through all 6 roles, what the day-to-day actually looks like, what each one starts at, and which one has the highest ceiling.

Here's what we cover:
→ Accounts payable specialist (45K–50K) — the easiest accounting role to break into with zero experience: match invoices to purchase orders, get approval, schedule payments
→ Accounts receivable specialist (46K–52K) — send invoices, chase late payments, reconcile customer accounts, and stack visible wins all day
→ Junior bookkeeper (48K–55K) — full-cycle AP, AR, bank reconciliations and monthly close, plus side clients at 25 to 30 per hour
→ Payroll specialist (50K–58K) — the most recession-proof of the 6, because payroll has to happen no matter what the economy does
→ Tax preparer (45K–50K) — seasonal January through April work you can be job-ready for in 6 to 8 weeks, and the fastest door into a full-time role

→ The real salary ladder: senior accountant 75K–100K, accounting manager 100K–135K, controller 130K–180K, CFO 200K+
