Fun fact: In the books when Crowley and Aziraphale give Anathema (the love of Danny's life) a ride in the car, she feels unsafe until Crowley calls Azirphale "angel", implying that she thinks they're together

“This fandom’s tumblr must me fucking feral”
Yes. Yes it is

I’m gonna make you love that plant scene even more:
1. Crowley’s acting out the way he was parented on his own plant kids. Screw up one time, you’re doomed to the pit/garbage disposal. Break one rule and you’re literally expelled from the garden.
2. The book (but not the show so I’m not considering this a spoiler) eventually reveals Crowley does not destroy the plants but instead fakes their dramatic deaths then takes them to an old lady in his building who’s really great with nursing plants back to health.

0:37 "Some other author" like Sir Terry Pratchett didn't receive a knighthood for how influential his writing was.

"She healed people and did witch shit?! Maybe stop?"
"OH! She's exacting a  sewer slide terrorist bombing at her execution? Girl Boss!"

This duality slayed me

The fact that the late great Sir Terry Pratchett is referred to simply as ‘another author’. 😢 He’s a legend and his contribution here should not be underestimated.

"they nose touched! this shows Tumblr must be going crazy" oh my sweet summer child

A quote from the script: “the plants were terrified (I don’t know how were going to show that either)”

"Neil Gaiman and another author". Man no named Terry Pratchett. The Gall. With a capital G.

Some cultural context: Dick Turpin is a well known highway man for people in the UK. See the horrible histories song about him.

Fun fact: when Anathema was picked up by Aziraphale and Crowley, she was worried until Crowley called Aziraphale ‘Angel’. Then she realized they like t h a t. And she wasn’t in any danger at all.

Oh Danny, every project with David Tennant has us simping for David Tennant.

ONE OF US ONE OF US ONE OF US ONE OF US-

"Azriaphale can get it too" REALEST

3:40 there is just no way he just predicted jim

The show doesn't explain that the prophecies aren't in any chronological order or order of importance.  This is the main reason why the characters have so much trouble deciphering them.  They have to figure out what year they are for, as well as decode the final meaning.

I love how most shows Danny watches has a silly goofy 1st season and then then the 2nd season is just trauma.

“Anybody obsessing over good omens” yes , I have 😀

the other dude who wrote good omens with neal gaiman is terry pratchett, who im convinced wrote himself into existence. he was such a prolific writer he got knighted for it. he went out found a fucking meteorite and forged a gods damned sword out of it to be knighted with. look up the disc world novels, movies and such. they are genuinely incredible works and i garan fucking tee youre going to love it. sakka's meteor sword might literally be a terry pratchett reference

16:57 „Are we about to introduce more characters?“ Ah, yes. More very important characters to remember, like Sgt. Milk Bottle 😂
