I lost my job of 8 years when my company had to downsize during the COVID lockdown in 2020. I was 38 at the time and the sudden incertainty about my future really had me spiral into severe depression and anxiety. I did not want to quit but it would‘ve either been me or a single mom of two kids so I felt obligated to.

Turns out it was the best decision I could‘ve made. Now I‘m almost five years into my new job, have a whole new circle of friends and have had two years of therapy for my mental health.

I wish you all the best for your future endeavours and I‘m looking forward to your future videos no matter how many or little it will be.

As a combat veteran I can confirm that your videos are soothing. Your movements are slow, intentional and not rushed and that in itself is soothing. Add the music and its very soothing! I watched this one the whole way through without realizing that I could turn on subtitles and learn the story behind it. Thats what I get for being 50 years old! Next I will be telling teenagers to get off my lawn! I live just outside of a very major city in Canada and in fact have to take the train to that major city for work. The hustle and speed at which life moves has worn me down in recent years so stumbling on your videos by accident, and seeing your slow methodical and intentional approach to life is very refreshing. On the days my son is not with me I will try to be a little more like this. So.... "thank you".

Life’s a journey and there’s a time and space for everything- when one door shuts another door opens. Like you I live alone in my beautiful home and sanctuary (in the UK 🇬🇧) … I’m an introvert. I’m going through a crossroad myself so I feel you.. and can understand what you’re experiencing. I recently quit my job after nine years as well, and it was definitely not an easy decision to make. It has been a part of your life for so long, so it's like you are leaving a part of yourself behind. But health comes first and I hope that you are doing well.
When I left my job, I saw it as a chance to grow and gain new experiences. It's scary - especially in the beginning, but with time I came to appreciate my decision to explore other options. This is what I wish for you as well.
