At the end of the story,  she still has no way to pay off her debts. Also she needs to get a 4wd vehicle to deliver her crops in the winter. Looks like she also needs a garage and a snow plow. Can't live that far out on a dirt road in the mountains without proper equipment.

However, it's a good story with an interesting plot.

why do the people who post these ai voices ever listen to them and put the original text on screen so that we can work out what the obviously rubbish words were meant to be?

The story is OK, but the narration is distractingly splotchy.  I can't listen to it any more.

I really dislike AI narration due to the fact the punctuation means nothing to AI. This is one of the most abominable narrations. I’ve tried to listen to. I would’ve really enjoyed the story if I could stand the breaks where they don’t belong.
