Humans will have colonized Mars before we cure hairloss.

Finally back to some old school MPMD topics

Losing hair in your 20s feels like a punch in the gut. I started noticing a thinning spot on my crown at 26 and I spiraled. Started obsessively checking mirrors, avoiding social events- it sounds dramatic, but it really messes with your self-esteem. I went down the YouTube rabbit hole and came across someone who mentioned red light helmets. I did a ton of research and finally settled on the one from Narlest. It wasn’t cheap, but I figured long-term hair loss would cost me more emotionally. I’m now 7 months in, and the difference is clear. My shedding is down by at least 70%, and the bald spot is barely visible anymore. It’s slow and steady progress, but it’s real. For once, I feel like I’m doing something that’s actually working.

63 yr old. Former national class bodybuilder from the 1980s. Using a low-dose regime of finasteride - .5 mg 3x week - which equals about .2 mg daily. Initially started the standard 1 mg a day dose for androgenic alopecia (mild hair thinning in the front area & some balding in the vertex) but experienced some sides (low ejaculatory fluid, ED).

Found The Hair Loss Show on YT - two Austrailian hair loss specialists - that recommended lower doses.Been on this dose for about 10 months - no more side-effects. Complete stabilization of hair loss & some actual regrowth on the vertex. There are some clinical studies showing good efficacy & very low side-effects with the .2 mg daily dose (Japan has good study).

The overwhelming #1 side effect of Finasteride is regretting not starting sooner

61 yrs old. Been on finasteride over 20 yrs...no problems and still have all my hair. 1mg a day and for awhile 3 mg a week.

Fun fact, almost every single male celebrity or male public figure, is on Fin…. and they’ve been on it since the 90s…

Derek's video on Finasteride showed its not the horrific drug people think it is. I started taking it after watching and my hair loss has stopped and ive grown back some. I'm 100% going to keep taking it. Ive been on it for 1 year. No side affects.
