Don't know why but the love we have for VW is very very real. We always pay extra for VW but the satisfaction of having one just feels better than having a chinese ev that we never dreamt about

Finally, they made a car that happens to be electric and not an electric car. I don't know if the car comes with heat pump as standard but 400km range is, in my opinion, acceptable in a small, city car.

VW acting like they discovered hot water again. Think where they would be now just by sticking to good Golf 7 direction and doing sensible engineering and didn't put their head in their big end for 10 years.

I really like the ID.Polo. The ID.Cross and ID.Up designs are also really attractive. I think VW has definitely figured out what made their cars from the Walter Da Silva era so appealing.

Thanks for highlighting the benefit of front wheel drive EVs. An MG5 estate drove 180,000 miles and the front brake pads were still like new, saving a lot of brake wear and dust. I hope it revives VW, just needs to be well built and reliable.

The ID3 in stonewashed blue with 19" wheels is my most favorite looking car all time. (the inside sucks, glad it improved in the facelifts). The new Polo looking good as well.
