Kate is in denial of her part of the kiss with Sophie.  It was not just one sided.  She is lying because she feels guilty in hurting Caz by cancelling the wedding and kissing Kate.  She refuses to take responsibility in her part in the break up.  She just was not ready to marry anyone.  Why haven't she and Caz addressed that part.  That had nothing to do with Sophie but it is easier for Caz and Kate to blame her than to face the fact that Kate just did not want to get married.  I think Sophie will move on and then Kate will realize her true feelings for Sophie when she gets jealous.  There always has to be some romantic drama for Sophie.  I remember Sophie kissing someone else on her wedding eve and Sian breaking up with her so she has been down this exact road before.
