WWE 2K, formerly released as WWF SmackDown!, WWE SmackDown!, WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw, WWE, and Exciting Pro Wrestling in Japan, is a series of professional wrestling sports simulation video games that launched in 2000. The premise of the series is to emulate professional wrestling, specifically that of WWE, formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). The series began with WWF SmackDown! on the original PlayStation and has continued as an annual release (except 2021). It was originally exclusive to PlayStation platforms until WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007, released in 2006, expanded the series to other platforms. In 2013, the series was rebranded as WWE 2K, beginning with WWE 2K14.

I love all these games, and im sad that some features like eras can't be added due to contracts, but the shop is something that they could do and I would love for them to do

Yoooo I need that hard drive to replace the CAW slots. I run my own universe mode with all original wrestlers(plus some legendary managers and occasional wrestling legends appearances), and I'm already up to 176 slots out of 200. That might sound like a lot, but this is about a 20 year long time period I'm booking, and I don't want to have to delete my retired wrestlers to make room for newcomers.

Tbqh, as long as there's an immersive story mode mirroring the classic SVR/SD series and an always-cool MyGM mode, I'm set.

That, and immerse MyFaction to only unlock wrestlers through World Tour. It was such a great idea that fell flat.

As for The Island, I never really cared. Should've just stayed a one-and-done, since it was literally NBA2K with a WWE-code of paint.

I respect the ambition though.
