Later we have the job of removing a radiator that's been installed in a strange place. I show you what plumbing tools I use to make the jobs as easy as possible.

That video takes me back Tom, That smell of the burning paint when you were heating up the joints to loosen them off. We used to use hemp and boss white on our joints back in the day, and after working all day/week with heavy rads and pipes like that, you were glad the system took ages to fill. A well-earned rest. lol 🤣

Hi Tom another great job done. Just a little tip I always have a length of 4 feet of scaffolding pipe with me for jobs like that makes it much easier to get some leaver-age to undo even the tightest of fittings.

Hi Tom,
Old iron pipe as you know is always a pain and time consuming, well done with that job.
I can’t ever remember seeing a radiator half way upstairs before 😮.

Good that we've moved on,used to hate going home smelling of Boss White and cutting oil, but just for fun I'd love see some of the "pressfit" guys swinging on stillies all day,will say though threaded pipe was very social cos there was always someone talk to at the threading machine.
Great vid Tom,takes me back.
