For those unfamilar - a TAS is a Tool Assisted Superplay/Speedrun. Playthroughs like this are created by a person recording and adjusting their inputs frame by frame in an emulator, and then playing those recorded inputs back in a video like the one you see here

"Like a knife through Spyrofoam."

call me dark hollow the way dayoman has never entered me from the back

T for TAS, C for chug, but N for NO CHEATING!!!

"alright so right off the bat in the opening cutscene the skybox didn't spawn so this should only get more interesting"

The red smoke in Spyro was sick!! I used to be so mad that only the thieves get them, and so easily

If anyone hasn't figured it out yet. This isn't a real speedrun. It's a tech, bug, and glitch demonstration lol

The red smoke top speed is sick, I didn't know it existed

"a knife through spyrofoam" HOW DID YOU THINK OF THAT ON THE SPOT THAT WAS SO GOOD

TAS runs are always fun to watch.

T for TAS and C for chuggers

I never knew red supercharge was possible. My whole life I thought orange was maximum. 25 years and I'm still learning new things about this game.

OG’s remember the 100% not cheated 8:50 WR from Radekuh that TAS could never compete with

Love how funny and nuts this is. Also you're very informative and surprisingly fast with your commentary! T and C!!

Everything from 6:07 thats funny lol The “cheers”

So this isn't a speedrun, it's more of a TAGS (Tool Assisted Glitch Showcase)

7:02 The reason this happens is because of a VRAM corruption; the game ALMOST crashes due to loading a crapton of stuff, but it doesn't anyway due to, I believe, then unloading immediately, which results in the graphics being absolutely annihilated, but the game is otherwise perfectly fine.

T for tas and taking a big C for chuggin late to please the algorithm. best energy of a speed runner dude love ya

2:12 the really cool thing is, textures are drawn on the mountain as you reach it, it could just be a stock noise texture, but they seem to have put that in as if you’d actually get there

You can also see texture warping, as it was using minimal triangles

This is the craziest thing I’ve seen!!

29:16 great song btw. The sax hits on that
